Ind imellem føles mit hoved som en tom bygning med knuste ruder og grafitti på væggene. Alle lamper er smadrede, strømmen er røget og det eneste, der rører sig, er rotterne i krogene. Mine tanker er tilfældige fragmenter, som intet har at gøre med mine gerninger og gøremål. På sådanne dage bliver jeg nærmest overrasket, når det lykkes mig at nå fra morgen til aften uden at komme alvorligt til skade eller blamere mig selv. (På den anden side ville jeg have kunne tage bussen nøgen, med håndklædeturban om håret, uden at opdage det…) Idag har været netop sådan en dag, og min hjerne har processueret følgende Nobelpris-kim:

* Er vi holdt op med at bruge ordet ‘nas’? Vil gerne vide det, for jeg bruger det stadig. Hvis vi er, vil jeg godt have en hjælpende hånd og trækkes med ind i 2008.

* Det kan da ikke passe, at jeg bliver ved med at være så tørstig?!? Er sygeligt. Hvad hedder den der psykiske sygdom, hvor patienterne drikker alt i flydende form, fra Vesterhav til toiletvand, egentlig?

* Kan folk, der går i for korte bukser, ikke selv se det? Eller er de ligeglade? Hvilket får mig til at spekulere på, om al mad smager af det samme for alle? Hvorfor er der nogen, der kan lide lam ( – virkelig; hvorfor??), og nogen der ikke kan? Er vores smagsløg indrettet forskelligt, så lam smager grimt i munden på os, der ikke kan lide det, og godt hos dem, der kan? Eller smager det ens, og så er det individuelt, hvad vi kategoriserer som lækkert og frastødende? Hvis det er det sidste, så forstår jeg det ikke.
